Blue Star Mothers,
I just wanted to say how much I appreciate all the work you put into sending out the carepackages to the troops. I was lucky enough to recieve one of those packages today while I am deployed in Afghanistan. The snacks are wonderful and I was able to share the goodies with my co-workers. Thank you so much for taking the time to send the packages out to us. We appreciate you and may god bless all the hands that help get these packages out to the troops.

Thank you.

To The Blue Star Mothers,
I am a soldier in the United States Army, currently deployed in Iraq. Today, we received around 100 boxes of generous donations from your organization, and I just wanted to send my gratitude. It's hilarious to see a whole company of Infantrymen come running like a pack of wild dogs for these boxes, and there wasn't much left after only 10 minutes. Everything sent is greatly appreciated. I thank God and I thank you, from the bottom of my heart. God bless!

Thanks from the bottom of my heart to all blue and gold star moms. Please thank your sons and daughters for me....the grandson of a 7 blue star mother Ethel M. Young who was from the Columbus,Ohio area and had 7 of her 13 sons serve during WW II. I have no clue how she did it. All 7 returned home safe, some wounded but all alive and home safely.

Happy Mothers' Day to the Blue Star Mothers everywhere

There is a famous quote that states that "we sleep peaceably in our beds only because rough men stand ready in the night to do violence to anyone who would threaten our country." The same should be said of the mothers of our men and women who serve in our military. They do not sleep soundly. They toss and turn, worry, and pray continuously for their sons and daughters. They spend countless hours writing, calling, and sending care packages to their loved ones, and make a tremendous contribution to their morale.

Another famous quote notes that those who defend our country are twice the citizen. They not only contribute to our great nation as civillians, but do double service as protectors of our freedoms. Blue Star Mothers also do double duty. They are also valuable citizens and productive members of their local communities, and wives and mothers to their children who remain at home. We should continue to support and pray for our service people, and at the same time remember those mothers in our prayers.

To the Gold Star Mothers: We recognize and honor your sacrifice. Those brave young men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice will forever be remembered by a grateful nation. May 30, 2011 is Memorial Day. As we honor their memory, our thoughts and prayers are with you as well.

Thank you, and may God bless you always.

This thank you is long overdue. I want to thank you for the care package you sent to my son. He shared it with others in his platoon. He was extremely grateful for your dedication to helping brighten the day of the military personnel. Thank you for all you do for our troops.

I just wanted to let you know that your thoughtfulness is appreciated. My husband received boxes from you today and he will now distribute them to the airmen stationed at the FOBs. He said, "I was feeling kinda down in the dumps today but that cheered me up." So I wanted to thank you for giving him that moment. They are few and far between.

First of all me and my soldiers are currently located in Tallil,Iraq. Most of them aren't fortunate to get to go home for Christmas or New Years to be close to home with the family and loved ones.
BUT thanks to this organization that you blessing women have created, you give a chance for soldiers to feel like home and that just because we are across the world and far away does not mean we dont get to be happy. thank you so much for the care packages and stockings full of joy and candy we have a peice of home. thank you once again i can never thank you enough. God Bless you all.

Thank you ALL for everything you do, for your sacrifices and your service. You, too, are truly heroes. guardian angels as well. I would love to become a member, but my son didn't enlist. Thank God and Congress the draft is gone. Very few of my friends were drafted to Vietnam, choosing to enlist instead, but what a nightmare those days were. Thankfully, today's kids are welcomed home and supported by America.
